Top tips for keeping positive during a lockdown?
I think having a routine is key for staying positive, by feeling like you always have something planned it’s helpful to keep a positive mindset.

How do you keep a work/life balance at the moment?
I allow myself time for studies throughout the day however I don’t work in the evenings and use this as my time to relax and do some self care.

What do you do to practice self-care while studying in lockdown?
Make myself an iced coffee on a morning, I do a hair mask 3 times a week and also do my makeup a couple of times to make myself feel good and less unproductive.

One thing you’ve grown to love during lockdown?
I’ve grown to love my own company and getting on with life by myself.

Going on walks, I take my puppy with me & doing something you love / a hobby, for me that’s getting social media content.

How do you keep a work/life balance at the moment?
I usually do work in the week and leave the weekends for me time, this gives me a nice break before a new weeks starts.

What do you do to practice self-care while studying in lockdown?
I always take the time to wash my hair, shave, do some face masks, make a fresh bed once a week - this just helps me stay positive and feeling good about myself.

Top tips for keeping positive during a lockdown?
I've been keeping positive during lockdown by focusing on the improvements happening regarding Covid, things are definitely getting better with more people getting the vaccine and I know there will be an end to this. Also trying to take the opportunity while at home to focus on uni and self care.

How do you keep a work/life balance at the moment?
I have recently stopped doing uni work in bed and started making an effort to get ready and move to a different space like my desk to separate my chill space from my work space. I also allocate times for things and make a daily plan to stay on track and make sure I do get some chill time as it's important for mental health.

What do you do to practice self-care while studying in lockdown?
My idea of self care is a bath followed by some skincare, lots of moisturiser and watching a fun movie in bed. I've been loving watching movies I loved when I was little as I find it so relaxing and chill.

One thing you’ve grown to love during lockdown?
During lockdown I have grown to love my own company which sounds so cheesy but I definitely have become more comfortable with my own thoughts and being by myself.

Your feel good song/album/artist to get you in a good mood

Top tips for keeping positive during a lockdown?
Staying busy! This is the best time to work on your health, your uni work, take time to plan for the future, and get things done that are often distracted by your social life.

How do you keep a work/life balance at the moment?
I never work past 7pm, the evenings are for relaxing and having some me time. Uni can sometimes blur days so you end up working every day, so I always make sure you take at least one day off a week from work completely.

What do you do to practice self-care while studying in lockdown?
Self care isn't always about taking a bath or doing face masks (even though it still can be!) self care can be hard but rewarding, I'm practicing self care in the form of working hard at uni, getting as much experience as I can, and learning as much as I can. Self care can be doing things for your future self.

One thing you’ve grown to love during lockdown?
Looking down every single aisle in the supermarket.

Anything from Lizzo gets me in an instant better mood.

Top tips for keeping positive during a lockdown?
Keeping positive during lockdown is always tricky but for me I like to spend time with my friends that I’m living with and set up pamper nights with face masks and wine for something to look forward to.

How do you keep a work/life balance at the moment?
At the moment with uni work it is tricky as the work is multiplying. I find it’s best to always dedicate days to do my uni work so that I leave myself days off to enjoy my down time and binging Netflix.

What do you do to practice self-care while studying in lockdown?
Self care in lockdown for me is about having a break from social media and my phone at times, maybe having a relaxing bath to do this.

One thing you’ve grown to love during lockdown?
One thing I’ve grown to love is being able to just enjoy going on walks which gets me out of the house. Something I wouldn’t usually do!

Your feel good song/album/artist to get you in a good mood
I’ve always been a huge fan girl of Justin Bieber so his Changes album is always a go to for me!

Top tips for keeping positive during a lockdown?
My top tips for keeping positive would be to put some up-beat music on, dance around and have some fun. Also I find going on daily walks to clear my mind really helps - I’ll put on a podcast, normally Sophia and Cinzia and this helps take my mind away from lockdown. Also remind yourself that we’ve been through this before and one day (hopefully sooner rather than later) it will all be a distant memory and we will all be back to living our best lives again with our friends. I also recommend voicenoting your friends, send them video messages about your day, it really helps to feel like you’re with them and socialising, instead of just texting.

How do you keep a work/life balance at the moment?
I’ve found creating a work/life balance has been really hard, but I think I’ve finally cracked it. I have stopped working in my bedroom as I was finding it super hard to concentrate as I would associate my bedroom with relaxing and therefore would procrastinate so much! I also make sure that I go on a walk in the middle of the day which helps me then refocus when it comes back to working. I will also only do my university work Mon-Fri (sometimes even have Friday off .. oops!) and then make sure at the weekend I am completely switched off from work and will occupy my time by getting content for IG and TikTok.

What do you do to practice self-care while studying in lockdown?
Self-care wise, I’ll always make sure in the morning I have showered, completed my skincare routine and I’ll also pop some oils in my hair. This makes me feel fresh and ready for the day ahead and definitely helps me focus! I’ve also found that putting on a face of make up helps me focus more (unsure why but it just does!)

One thing you’ve grown to love during lockdown?
I’ve started to read more and I’ve grown to love reading recently. Pre lockdown I never really had or made the time to sit down and read but this lockdown I’ve made a conscious effort and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve found it’s a great way to relax and forces me to have a break from endlessly scrolling on social media! The two books I’m reading at the moment are quite different, but both focus upon bettering yourself. The first is “Why Men Love B*tches” and I’m honestly hooked. I’ve only read a couple of chapters so far but it’s been a great book to help me reflect and realise things I’m perhaps doing wrong when it comes to dating! It also has massively helped me realise my self-worth, which is of course so important! The second is a book by James Smith, called “Not A Life Coach” and again this has been so insightful in realising what I should place my happiness on and how I want my future and life to look. I’d highly recommend both books!

Your feel good song/album/artist to get you in a good mood
I actually find that putting on old Hannah Montana songs really helps to put me in a good mood, they’re just so upbeat. I also have a throwback playlist on Spotify with the likes of T.I, Nelly, Rihanna, Chris Brown and Akon on - again, I find that these fave throwback r&b songs put me in such a good mood.
