STYLE STEALS: TRACKSUIT EDITION
The tracksuit has always stood the test of time and is reaching a peak rn. If you’re anything like me and have been living in joggers and sweats for the past year but you’re looking to level up your loungewear then the tracksuit is the perfect choice. They’re comfy and they’re what every Insta cool girl is wearing rn.
I’ve rounded up some of my fave celeb tracksuit moments and how you can steal their look from ISAW. You may think some of these icons are questionable, but i’m ready to prove you wrong!
Yes, you read that right. Ali G, aka Sacha Baron Cohen is the King of the tracksuit. His signature bright yellow head-to-toe look is….brave. But take inspo from Ali with this tan velour number or stick with the brights with this teal look.
Ok, it’s not full on Ali G but we’re saying don’t shy away from bold colours! Here are some of our faves...
If Ali G is King, it’s safe to say that Paris is Queen! She single-handedly made velour cool again and now we just cannot get enough of it.
Whether you make like Paris and opt for bold brights or you cool things down in next level neutrals we've got some velour vibes for you! Check out our top picks...
We couldn't have a tracksuit inspo list unless we included Jenny from the Block, so here she is! The best thing about JLo is she's covered every look. From velour vibes to straight-up athleisure, she's done it all.
We love her laid-back navy number and salute how she's styled up her joggers with heels. We could never!
Here are some Jen inspired looks...
Mel C aka Sporty Spice
Even though I was usually Mel B when playing Spice Girls (mainly due to my curly fro) I always loved Mel C's look. Unlike Posh she always looked laid-back, comfortable and it meant she could do those amazing high kicks. The 90s gave the tracksuit a revival and Sporty Spice led the way.
