What to Wear to Stay Warm at a Beer Garden

We are tooooo excited for the return of beer gardens and outdoor drinking. So excited that we probably forgot that it’s still quite cold outside, and sometimes no amount of cocktails can keep us from shuddering while sipping. But don’t worry - we got you. Here’s some options for iconic layers you can add on to your outfit to keep you warm while you stay social.

Of course we had to add in gilets. They’re definitely having a moment this Spring and we can’t get enough tbh. Whether you’re loving beige, pastels or black styles - there’s no gilet you won’t like. Guaranteed body heat and completely on trend, what more could you want?! For an evening in a beer garden, we’d pair a gilet with some baggy 90s jeans or some leather trousers, your fave long sleeve and don’t forget some accessories to level it up!

A trusty borg coat will last you a lifetime - we’re serious! On chilly days where you’ve got plans, don’t worry! These coats are literally perfect for wrapping up warm and being super comfy while looking good! This check longline coat goes perfectly with heels, so think of this for your next bottomless brunch or happy hour social when there’s a nip in the air! Aviator jackets look amazing with jeans & a nice top, or if you’re wanting an all over blanket style - opt for this hooded grey style.

We’re LOVING shackets recently! They’re the perfect ‘in between coat’ if you know what I mean? At times it’s been too cold for just a top but too warm for a winter coat, so shackets are definitely the way to go for a Spring jacket. With so many colours to choose from, it’s hard to decide! Check shackets are a super cute alternative to just a block colour and can give your outfit extra detail. Alternatively, get a neutral and wear for every occasion!

Bomber jackets

An iconic jacket for girls that love street style. Definitely my fave jacket! Take any of these & layer with a hoodie for the ultimate comfy vibes for a late night drinking session. They’re the perfect laid back look for when you want your hair in a bun. Don’t forget your oversized sunnies!

Denim jackets are iconic. Pair with jeans for a double denim look, joggers, leather trousers and pretty much anything else you can find! For some serious warmth, opt for this denim sweat hoodie for something a little different. Or go borg with this borg collar jacket. If a cropped look is more suited to you, we’re in love with this hooded denim bomber jacket! The perfect street style jacket when you don’t wanna lose your cool with a big jacket and want a light jacket instead!

We’re loving this wrap over cardigan, perfect for an extra layer. We’d pair this with some jeans and a vest to keep your arms warm! Alternatively, a long length maxi cardigan is the perfect layer to keep you warm from top to bottom!
