I SAW IT FIRST are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our head office in Manchester.

As the Assistant Merchandiser you will provide analysis of sales information and over seeing daily and weekly intake control.

 

Key skills & Responsibilities

  • Analysing historical sales for forward planning proposals and forecasting line and flow projections by line and category level
  • Maintaining commitment schedules for forecasting and repeat ordering information and ensuring balances and outstanding quantities are correct
  • Implementing markdown proposals for planned and ad-hoc events
  • Monitoring of stock levels at full price and reduced price
  • Liaising with suppliers and warehouse to ensure an effective throughput of stock
  • Controlling and overseeing weekly intake in line with departmental requirements
  • Producing weekly intake information by style
  • Confirming delivery details with suppliers in line with warehouse restrictions.
  • Preparing weekly department trading results including sales, stock commitment, profit and budget information.

Booking In Clerk

I SAW IT FIRST are looking for a Booking Clerk to join our head office in Manchester.

As the Booking Clerk you will have the overall responsibility for supplier bookings for all categories to ensure that stock is received on time and in line with company targets.

 

Key functional areas of responsibility

  • Collating bookings for all categories stock
  • Print daily collections and organise these with our driver
  • Liaise with Buyers and Merchandising teams from all categories in regards to booking dates and approvals
  • Liaise with the Warehouse in regards to deliveries and missed deliveries and ensure all categories are informed
  • Liaise with suppliers in regards to bookings via email and phone calls
  • Allocate intake targets per category and per day, and ensure this is communicated with the Warehouse and Merchandising team
  • Send the daily intake to the Warehouse and Merchandising teams

Skills & experience required

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, managing several supplier accounts
  • Ability to utilise Microsoft Outlook and complete work from several inboxes
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail when managing booking dates and ensuring that intake and category targets are adhered to
  • Time management is essential and the ability to prioritise work load
  • Confident, pro-active and able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

Merchandising Admin Assistant

I SAW IT FIRST are looking for a Merchandising Admin Assistant to join us at our head office in Manchester.

As the Merchandising Admin Assistant you will be responsible for making sure the product sells the best, most profitably. The merchandising team at I SAW IT FIRST work to a test and repeat model. You will be working closely with other departments such as the buying team on a daily basis.

 

Job Summary:

•   To assist and support the merchandising team for the designated category, including providing administrative support as required.
•   Work closely with both the merchandisers and the buyers for the designated category to develop a full understanding of the range supported.

 

Tasks, duties & responsibilities:


•   Responsible for creating and amending all purchase orders.
•   Action re-pricing and markdown changes.
•   Changes to supplier revised delivery dates.
•   Liaise with the warehouse regarding any stock queries and necessary purchase order amendments.
•   Sending Barcodes out to suppliers.
•   Supporting the Merchandiser with excel reporting and preparation, analysis, Data entry and general administrative duties.

Merchandiser

This role will see you responsible for supporting the merchandising function to ensure that the relevant stakeholders have accurate data which can directly, pro actively and consistently inform decisions relating to maximising profitability and contributing to overall business strategy and growth.

 To support the Head of Merchandising to ensure that the buying function is effectively controlled within the agreed business strategy, and that all necessary frameworks, controls and skill sets are in situ to enable the necessary degree of both long term planning and in season trading to maximise business performance.

 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

 

• Using data to optimise the sales volume and profitability of all designated product areas.

• Planning of budgets by category, option count, and depth of buy based on the overall business and financial goals of the company.

• Controls stock levels based on weekly sales and stock intakes (WSSI)

• Reviews sales forecasts based on performance, and actions re forecasts.

• Analyses and monitors best and worst sellers and makes informed recommendations for action

• Recommends promotions and re buys as necessary

• Monitors and maintains buying margin and gross profit margins as requested.

• Ensures that best sellers reach their full potential

• Supplies the Head of Merchandising and buying team with necessary data to enable informed decisions and planning.

• Is aware of current and emerging best practice within merchandising/buying and makes recommendations to the business through the Merchandising Director as appropriate.

• Works closely with the Merchandising Director at a strategic level within buying and merchandising and translates strategy to implementation.
