Back in 2019 we decided to flip Cyber Week on its head and Give Back Friday was born. We partnered with 7 incredible charities and for every £1 our customers spent we matched it with a £1 donation. The total donations were then split between: Women’s Aid, Breast Cancer Now, Action for Children, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, The Prince’s Trust, Homeless House and The Booth Centre. Money raised = £85,000 Women’s Aid is one of the UK’s leading charities against domestic violence and abuse of women and children for over 45 years. They look to not only protect survivors but to empower them and keep their voices at the heart of what they do. ISAWITFIRST’s donation went towards their Survivor’s Forum which is a safe, online space where women who have been affected by abuse can share their stories and support each other. “Their wonderful donation, raised through the 2019 Give Back Friday campaign, has made a huge difference to our work supporting women and children experiencing abuse. Domestic abuse affects so many women and children and we are very grateful to ISAWITFIRST for highlighting our cause and raising crucial funds.”
